DOOTIQUE

A custom pattern map, designed to be an exact reflection of your brand translated into a work of art that invites your customers to become part of your story.

Your SPACE is already saying something

A customer spends twenty minutes in your space and perhaps four seconds on your logo. The surfaces around them  the wall behind the counter, the corridor, the packaging in their hand carry far more of your brand than any mark does, and in most businesses they carry it by accident.

The usual fixes do not solve this. A stock pattern tells someone else's story. A blown-up logo is a signature, not a narrative. A photographic mural dates in eighteen months and cannot move onto a coffee cup.

Dootique treats the surface as the medium. We take the ideas and products your business is actually built on, draw each one as a geometric motif, and compose them into a field that covers your space one visual language that then runs across walls, packaging, uniforms, signage and screens without redrawing.

Nineteen motifs across four families, from the cupcake itself down to a fragment set that does the work of connective ground. The hero took three attempts: drawn as a monoline swirl it read as a scribble, and the fix was mass against line — an outlined case beneath a solid dome, which is the wordmark's own logic.

Strength Gym

The vocabulary fuses an anatomical form, a machine form and an ancient mark, with fracture running through the set as connective tissue. Drawing it taught us two rules now in the house standard: a crack has to cross its form or it reads as debris, and a body form loses its read the moment it becomes symmetrical.

Burger shop

The burger deconstructed into abstract shapes and recombined  the house geometry is already the alphabet that idea asks for. The set is strictly two-tone, so the brief's red ketchup and yellow mustard could not separate by colour; they separate by rhythm instead, one sweeping and one zigzagging.

How a pattern map is made?

Brand discovery

Spatial analysis

Spatial analysis

  •  We find what the business is genuinely about the founding decision, the signature product, the thing you do differently. This becomes the motif vocabulary. Nothing is drawn until it can be named.

Spatial analysis

Spatial analysis

Spatial analysis

  •  We measure the surfaces and, critically, the distances they are read from. Viewing distance sets the stroke weight; the wall dimensions set the repeat. A pattern sized for a screen fails on a wall.

The vocabulary

Spatial analysis

The vocabulary

  •  Each idea is drawn as a motif in the house geometry never as an illustration, always as construction. Ten to twenty motifs, grouped into families that behave consistently.

The field

Documentation

The vocabulary

  •  Motifs are composed into a seamless field, with connective ground tuned to your business. Density is a decision: a gym floor and a bakery need different amounts of quiet.

Documentation

  • Every motif ships with a written entry: what it means, where it belongs, how it is built, and which motifs it must never sit beside. You receive the reasoning, not only the files.

One language, every surface

  •  A pattern map is not a mural. It is a SYSTEM, which means the same vocabulary changes register without changing identity.

Feature wall

Full field at architectural scale, tuned density.

Packaging

Fewer motifs, larger relative to the surface.

Uniforms

A single motif or the fragment set, embroidered.

Signage

One motif isolated, reading as an object.

Glass and partitions

 Inverted, frosted, or line-only.

Digital and social

Cropped from the same seamless field.

What never changes, on any surface, is the construction law. And because the map is zoned rather than uniform, a motif can be placed once above a counter and tiled densely down a corridor.
